"Let’s bring back the wonder of birth."
My own birth was the portal into the world of birthwork. Now I help others navigate their birth stories through movement, physiology, and psyche.
Birth is a journey that beckons us to tap into our inner strength, vulnerability and heart’s wisdom.
As a doula and childbirth educator, I’ve had the deep honour of walking alongside families during one of the most transformative times in their lives. From the moment you discover you're pregnant to the first time you hold your baby in your arms, having someone by your side can make all the difference—not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually, too.
This journey is tender and powerful, and continuous support can be a grounding force, offering reassurance, comfort, and care when you need it most. Studies consistently show that doulas can reduce unnecessary interventions and lower Cesarean rates—but beyond the data, what truly matters is the feeling of being seen, heard, and held throughout your birth.

“We couldn’t be happier with Dewi; she’ll play it off you, not force anything, be tuned in your vibe and generally commit to this journey, all the way to the actual delivery in the room. Dewi is also a wonderful person outside of just professional qualifications. We are happily recommending her to anyone considering a doula.”
Here’s a truth about birth that not many people fully understand: no one is meant to do this alone. Having a doula reminds us of the timeless wisdom that it really does take a village to bring a child into the world—and to support the becoming of a new parent, too. Movement, physiology and psyche is what informs my doula work. You can say that these are the skills that are most obvious to my clients. But what truly keeps my heart beating when it comes to birthwork is my commitment to uplift families and spread the message of collective care.
When we empower people with the tools to birth well, when we give voice to those who have been silenced and when we acknowledge that birth is not a sickness — we start to see the effects of that ripple far beyond the birthing world. Just imagine a world where parents and caregivers are empowered to say no to what feels unjust and unnecessary and yes to what feels right by them. Then, imagine the children that come after. Let’s create that future now.
“I was very happy with this third birthing experience and how it went, although it was the toughest one out of all three! Your presence and practical tips really helped to support me and A so she could find the smoothest way out! It was so calming for me to hold your hand and listen to your voice, and to feel the differences in the positions you suggested. Thank you for being there.”
